Personal Testimony

I accepted Christ as my Savior when I was six years old. I have been involved in the ministry in Argentina for many years, serving the Lord in Children´s Church, Sunday School, Youth Ministry and special music. For two summers I was an Intern Pastor in the Iglesia Bautista Misionera (Missionary Baptist Church) in Don Torcuato.

In 2003 I graduated from Northland Baptist Bible College with a degree in Pastoral Studies. On February 14, 2004, I married my "High School Sweetheart," Romina González, from the church here in Don Torcuato. I graduated from Faith Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity Degree. I am presently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry Degree at Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania.

I believe that God called me to ministry when I was twelve years of age. Our church in Argentina was having a Missions Conference and the Missionary speaker addressed the need for Labourers. I remember a clear desire to serve God in any way possible to further the gospel.

God continued to make that desire grow through several opportunities of ministry. I was given the opportunity to help my junior church leaders and learn from their leadership. When I was a teenager I had several opportunities of preaching before the congregation and also was given some leadership among the youth group.

During my college days I was blessed with being able to return to Argentina during summer breaks and be involved in Pastoral Internships. Through all these different ministries my desire to serve God in ministry increased. This was a confirmation of the calling of God in my life.

I was saved when I was six years old, and me and my family began to attend the Iglesia Bautista Misionera de Don Torcuato in 1997. I received a degree in Elementary Education in Argentina.

I really cannot recall any specific moment that God called me to missionary service. I have felt much interest in participating in the ministry. I was 16 years old when I met who now is my husband, and he said that God had called him to the ministry and also shared with me all his plans to be a missionary. I thought it was all very interesting.

So I always knew that Andrew was called into the ministry and during the seven years that we knew each other, God showed me that he was the person for my life. When I was 20 years old I had the opportunity to go on a missions trip and that experience changed my life completely. I then devoted my life to God and told him I would go anywhere he wanted me to go.
